Riser
Our pump mounting plate riser is designed to raise the pump allowing 360-degree air flow from the flywheel to cool the pump oil reservoir. Pump mount risers also allow air to flow under the pump for maximum cooling.
Continuous Run/Dual Control
Dual Control
Dual control allows users to run the unit with automatic start/stop control, or the optional continuous run setting during high duty cycle peak demand periods.
Optional Settings
The optional continuous run setting allows the pump to cool internally and save the electric motor and magnetic switch from excessive frequent starting and stopping of the electric motor.
Pressure Lube
Pressure Lubrication is the second type of lubrication systems. This system is more technically advanced and a far more precise method to deliver oil to critical parts of the pump, resulting in longer pump life. The oil is pumped through an oil filter and into the pump where it is then recycled and reused. Since the oil pump is delivering the oil more efficiently the viscosity of the oil is less critical than with a splash system. In the air compressor industry, it is typically more costly to upgrade to pressure lubrication systems. *Our high efficiency manufacturing facility 0to the tank. With this radiator, we target outlet air to the tank within 10 degrees of ambient temperature.

Our Patented Silent Air system works by dissipating compressor intake noise through a series of noise cancellation plates, reducing DBA ratings by up to 50%. Motor
These units have name brand OPD (open drip motors) on them, all of which carry a five-year warranty. All of our motors are low RPM (1750 rpm), versus the higher RPM motors (3450 RPM) used on many competitive units. 1750 RPM motors run much cooler than 3450 RPM motors, because of the higher torque factor. They also yield low harmonic distortion, provide much higher torque in cold weather starting and requiring less electricity under start up.

We looked long for an american made/assembled compressor. I have to say this met our expectation times 10. The quality is hands down perfect. This is the quietest compressor i have ever heard with the silent air feature. It got to 175psi in less than 2 minutes. We can literally stand next to this thing and have a normal conversation. Great compressor, wish I had pulled the trigger earlier. Quiet, and relatively vibe-free. Bolted down with backed off anchors and rubber pads. I added an aftercooler ( BGA-100) with an auto drain. Clean dry air in the tank and the system. Only had to fix an auto drain thread leak. You get 80% of a quincy, for 30% of the price, and 1 tenth the noise of an IR. Very happy here- runs anything I have and still cycles.

Wow! This compressor is awesome! I’ve had a 7.5 hp “professional grade” big box store brand (sounds something like Ingelbert Randy) for the last 15 years. Talk about an upgrade. Everything is 2-3 times the size. The motor is monstrous as are the castings the pumps is made of. I do a lot of sandblasting and metal refinishing. This thing doesn’t even break a sweat keeping up with the demands I put on it. As far as quiet goes, it is a lot quieter. It’s a combination of running at a much slower speed than most other compressors and the frequency of the sound. It’s much lower frequency and not as piercing as my old compressor. The fit and finish looks great. It was packed very well on an oak pallet with and OSB and cardboard box around it. It’s taken me about a year to pull the trigger on this and I’m glad I did.

Just got time to wire up my new 7 1/2 HP air compressor with the noise suppressor whisper 100 from polar air. Flipped switch and about died, this compressor is so quiet. AMAZING There is no way to explain how quiet this thing is compared to my old one . I won’t trash my old one it done it’s job but this new one by polar is just absolutely AMAZING l called all my friends to let them here it over the phone.My old compressor was sold by a major tool company and it would almost run you out of the garage when it ran. I bought this compressor to replace an older Sanborn 80 gallon 2 stage compressor that was limping along for years. I had initially looked into getting an IR T30 compressor, but the specs on the Polar looked a bit better so went with Polar. The compressor was packaged very well on the shipping crate and appears to be very good quality. The operation of the compressor is probably the best feature…it’s really quiet! It’s definitely not “silent” but it is significantly quieter than the Sanborn I replaced. I did measure the sound level with the NIOSH sound level meter app from about 6ft away and the Polar runs at about 77dB while the Sanborn was 87dB. A 10dB reduction is a 10x reduction in the sound pressure level, so that reduction is impressive! Very happy customer.

I have the Emax version of this unit and it is a beast! The company photos are a bit out dated, as Emax moved the silencer portion to the left side of the tank, making it easier to clean the filters. I contacted Emax customer service a couple times and was connected to a tech guy (in the US!) who answered all my questions.
While the unit isn’t silent, it’s quieter than a 30 gallon Craftsman that this is replacing and fills the tank significantly faster.
This will be used primarily for a blasting cabinet. It’s kept up so far with no issues. I also like how it came with an auto-drain assembly and already had the continuous mode hardware installed.
